2025’s two-time MCHOF Award winner and three-time nominee Automodello has become the first Official Sponsor of the 2026 Awards. Appropriately, they will be sponsoring the 2026 Best 1/24-1/25 Scale Model and Best 1/43-1/55 Scale Model categories.
Founded in 2010 by James Cowen, Automodello is hugely popular among collectors for their high-detail, handmade 1/12, 1/24 and 1/43 scale models of vintage US and European cars in resin. With a focus on cars which have previously been overlooked by modelmakers, their past models include the Bricklin SV-1, Sunbeam Tiger, 1935 Duesenberg Mormon Meteor and 1988 Pontiac Fiero fastback.

Automodello’s 2025 MCHOF Awards triumphs were for Best 1/8-1/12 Scale Model for their Eagle Gurney-Weslake V12 and Best 1/24-1/25 Scale Model for their Iso Grifo. The Grifo was also the most popular model of the 2025 Awards, receiving the highest number of votes out of all model category winners.

Their 1969 Chevrolet Kingswood Estate Station Wagon was also nominated for Best 1/24-1/25 Scale Model of 2025. The company previously won same category in 2018, for their ’65 Buick Riviera GS.
