Collective Memories: A Card Carrying Original Hot Wheels Fan

How many of you still have your original Hot Wheels Club membership car from the late ’60s? Jimmy Lonetti of Minneapolis still has his, along with a J-Car and the matching button. He keeps them in a drawer at his place of work, D&J Glove Repair Shop. Lonetti restores baseball gloves, whether they are in use by local rec league or Little League players, or vintage antique relics. His shop is also an incredible museum of Minnesota Twins memorabilia with a minor emphasis on MPLS music legends The Replacements. If you’re in the area, stop in and tell him the Model Car Hall of Fame sent you!
