The Model Car Hall of Fame is thrilled to announce that Daniel Wietlisbach, editor and publisher of Laster & Bagger, the leading German-language model truck magazine, has joined our Selection Committee.
Daniel’s fascination with large machines began in childhood, when he watched the mighty articulated dumpers and caterpillar tractors on Swiss construction sites – an enthusiasm that continues to this day.
Daniel has been working as a photographer since 1994, later founding the first German-language magazine for construction machine models and eventually developing it into Laster & Bagger. The magazine focuses on collector’s models as well as model and diorama construction on a scale of 1:50. It is published in print in German and offers translations in French and English for free download in PDF format.
Daniel also provides editorial and visual support for other magazines and works with manufacturers and OEMs. Whether in the studio, in layout or in reportage, Daniel tells stories about machines – and about the passion of the people who collect, build and operate them.
