Time flies when you’re having fun. In 2026 it’ll be 20 years since Disney Pixar’s Cars (2006) was released. To mark the anniversary, LEGO are releasing a model of series star Lightning McQueen in their hugely popular Speed Champions series.
Measuring 5.5″ long by 3″ wide, the LEGO McQueen has 270 pieces and will be the first (and so far only) Speed Champions model to feature a detailed undercarriage. Naturally, it also has decals depicting McQueen’s iconic #95, Rust-Eze logo and windshield eyes in addition to faithfully-replicated “Lightyear” brand tires.
With an official US retail price of $27.99, the set is available to pre-order now and will officially release on January 1st 2026.
