One of our favorite categories is Historic Model Brand of the Year because we love looking back at all the wonderful brands whose models got us to where we are today. This year’s winner is;
Corgi are, of course, one of the pioneering diecast greats, having been the first to add clear plastic windows to their models, being the first major manufacturer to successfully make film and TV tie-in models on a grand scale, the first to feature opening hood/bonnet, boot/trunk and doors on a 1/43 casting and many, many other features.
