New Amalgam Ferrari 499P Engine in 1/4 Scale

Just in time for the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, Amalgam have launched their new 1/4 scale model of the Ferrari 499P V6 Engine and Gearbox, depicting the powerplant from the 2023 Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P and it’s fifth-place finisher sibling.

Coming in at 35cm long, the model represents over 3,500 hours of development time, with in excess of 325 hours devoted to assembling each piece. As with all Amalgam models, the engine is hand-built in the company’s workshops by their specialist team of artisans. Each is assembled from thousands of precisely-engineered parts, including castings, photo-etchings and CNC machined metal components.

Limited to just 499 pieces worldwide, the model engine is available to order from Amalgam’s website now.
