Owner of VDM Models Offers Reasons to NOT Buy His Models

We all love diecast collecting for a variety of reasons, and everyone has their own personal tastes. Vladimir Sorokolat, the owner of the relatively new model car company VDM, makes precisely detailed miniatures of really old, really obscure cars. And he recently suggested why you might want to avoid dipping your toes into this area of collecting.

You might meet the ghosts of the past. You might need glasses. It will cost you money. And more!

All of this is of course tongue in cheek, as a way to promote his outstanding models. With this kind of attitude and attention to quality, VDM might just end up in the Model Car Hall of Fame someday.
