Public voting is now open for the 2025 Model Car Hall of Fame Awards, the collecting community’s best-known celebrations of the model vehicle world, rewarding the best in diecast, model kits, slot cars and the people who create and celebrate them.
For the 16th year running, collectors and model fans can now weigh in on which models, brands and people should come top in 33 hotly-contested categories. Among them are Best Model Brand, Best Content Creator and no less than 13 “Best Model” categories, separated out by scale and model type.
The 2025 winners will join the 300+ brands, personal inductees and models who have already passed into the hall’s annals. These include luminaries like Carroll Shelby, Jay Leno and Larry Wood.
Votes can be submitted at https://www.modelcarhall.com/vote/. Model fans can vote in as many or as few categories as they wish and no registration is necessary. Voting will close on December 22nd, 2025.
Once again, winners will be announced at the world famous Nuremberg Toy Fair at a ceremony on January 29th, 2026. For the first time, this year’s awards ceremony will be accompanied by an exhibition of the nominees and winners.
