The Model Car Hall of Fame was sorry to learn that Selection Committee Member Matthias Braun has been hospitalized in Germany following a medical episode. Everyone at MCHOF is wishing him the best for his recovery and hope he will soon be home again.
Matthias is the former leader of Audi’s E-Business division, and was responsible for operations at Audi of America until 2008. He has since served as General Secretary of the AvD, Germany’s most most traditional automobile club, as well as being on the German American Automobile Club board. He is also the proud owner of a significant model car collection and has written a number of books on real and model cars.
