One of the diecast world’s most exciting events is rebranding!
Since 2018, the Singapore Diecast Expo has been bringing the diecast collecting community in the east together with huge success. Now, having just marked the first ever Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Singapore, held in conjunction with the 2026 SDE, the organizers have announced a new name for next year. As of 2027, the event becomes the Singapore Diecast Collectors Convention (SDCC).
Announcing the change, organizers Korei said the change was made to reflect the nature of the event being more than just a place to buy and sell. Speaking on Instagram, they said;
“Since 2018, we’ve been bringing Singapore’s diecast community together.
But if you’ve been with us through the years, you’ll know this has always been more than just an expo.
It’s never just been about the tables, the deals, or the cars.
It’s about the people. The friendships made, the stories shared, the knowledge passed down, and the passion that keeps this hobby alive.”
That’s a sentiment we at MCHOF can more than get behind!

Bookings, tickets and vendor spots will remain the same, as well the date, venue, mascot and team behind the event. The first ever SDCC will be held in September 2027.
