Jada has just released a pretty crazy model that could only come from the land of Mad Max.

It’s a 1967 Chevrolet El Camino in 1/24 scale, ready to do some sort of competition or combat. The ute has a tubbed rear end with racing slicks. The wheels on those tires have an aggressively spiked design, which looks pretty badass. It also features a roll cage, perfect for racin’ or wreckin’. Best of all, it’s painted in a desert color combo of sand and burnt maroon with a sort of tiger mouth applique behind the front wheels.
The Looney Tunes logo arching over the rear wheels indicates that this is no tiger… it’s the Tasmanian Devil. Honestly, this thing looks like it’s ready to take on all comers at a demolition derby. The ACME Racing logo just makes it even scarier.

The 67 Elco is an interesting choice here. Nearly identical to the truck/car from the year before, the ’67s redesigned facade is often considered a downgrade from the sleek, simple grill of the ’66. Also… WHY DIDN’T THEY USE A HOLDEN UTE?
Holden, a division of GM made a popular series of pick-coupes over the years, at some times platform sharing with the American versions. In fact, for years, there was speculation the Holden SS Ute would come to America as a Pontiac pickup. Sadly, that never happened.

Despite not using an Aussie casting, this thing really looks all kinds of crazy. As you can see in the pics, it has opening bonnet, doors, and tailgate as well. Pick one up and scare the rest of your 1/24 collection just a bit! did we mention a figure of Taz himself comes with it? Find it online at your favorite outlets!
